Spinach Dip
Dive into the rich, creamy goodness of Spinach Dip, a savory blend of melted cheese and fresh spinach perfect for dipping or spreading
INGREDIENTS
• 3 tbsp infused cannabis olive oil
• 10 oz fresh spinach (roughly chopped) or 1 package (10 oz) frozen spinach, thawed and drained
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 cup mayonnaise
• 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1/4 tsp onion powder
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• Red pepper flakes or fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
If using fresh spinach, heat 1 tablespoon of regular olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted. Drain excess moisture and set aside. If using frozen spinach, thaw completely and squeeze out as much water as possible.
In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and softened cream cheese. Stir until smooth and well combined.
Add the minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to incorporate all the flavors.
Gently fold the cooked spinach into the cream mixture. Stir in the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheese until evenly distributed.
Drizzle the infused cannabis olive oil over the dip mixture and fold it in carefully, ensuring even distribution for consistent dosing.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the dip to an oven-safe dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
Top with red pepper flakes or fresh herbs like parsley or chives for a burst of color.
Serve the dip warm with chips, crackers, sliced bread, or vegetable sticks.
TIPS
• Enhance the flavor by adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick, or incorporate sun-dried tomatoes for a burst of tanginess
