Pancakes
Elevate your breakfast with Cannabis-Infused Pancakes, a fluffy and flavorful way to start your day with a touch of relaxation
INGREDIENTS
• 1 cup AP flour
• 2 tbsp white sugar
• 1 tbsp baking powder
• Pinch of salt
• 1 cup white milk
• 1 large egg
• 2 tbsp cannabutter
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• (Optional) Fresh berries, chocolate chips, or nuts for extra topping
INSTRUCTIONS
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, egg, cannabutter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Careful not to overmix as it makes the pancakes tough.
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with a bit of regular butter or oil if needed.
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set. Flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
Stack the pancakes on a plate and serve warm. Top with fresh berries, chocolate chips, or nuts if desired. You can also drizzle with syrup or more cannabutter for extra flavour.
TIPS
• For extra fluffy pancakes, let the batter rest for 10 minutes before cooking
• Use a non-stick skillet or griddle and preheat it well before adding the batter for even cooking and a perfect golden crust
