Veggie Stir Fry

INGREDIENTS

  • Assorted vegetables

  • 1 1/2 tbsp of J & Jay's olive oil or coconut oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 3/4 tsp sugar

  • Dash of freshly ground white pepper

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1/4 tsp cornstarch

  • 2 tbsp water

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prepare the vegetables by cutting them into desired sizes.

  2. Blanch the vegetables and drain. set aside.

  3. Heat up the J & Jay's olive or coconut oil in a wok.

  4. Saute the garlic until fragrant over low heat.

  5. Add salt, sugar, ground white pepper, oyster sauce, cornstarch and water. Cook until the sauce becomes translucent.

  6. Add the blanched vegetables. Stir-fry over high heat until it turns fragrant. If not serving immediately, then cook vegetables on a low-medium heat.

  7. Remove from heat. Plate and serve.

TIPS

  • Add more infused olive/coconut oil or substitute regular olive/coconut oil based on desired dosage

  • Add chili flakes to add spice or 1 tsp of sesame seeds or sesame oil for additional flavoring.

  • Use desired vegetables based on preference, delicious with broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, snow peas, red bell peppers, or mushrooms.
