Glazed Carrots

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 peeled carrots

  • 1/4 cup of J & Jay’s infused coconut oil

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/8 cup chopped parsley

  • 1/4 tsp of ground peppers or chili powder for preference

  • Sprinkle of salt and ground pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cut the carrots into smaller pieces. Cut to size preference.

  2. Add the J & Jay’s infused coconut oil to an iron-cast skillet and heat over medium heat.

  3. Add in the carrots into the skillet and add a dash of salt. Toss to coat the carrots

  4. Continue to cook the carrots for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the carrots are tender and caramelized.

  5. Add in maple syrup and toss the carrots for 1 minute.

  6. Season with salt and desired seasonings then top with chopped parsleys.

  7. Serves up to 2 people.

TIPS

  • Substitute infused coconut oil depending on desired dosage

  • Can substitute maple syrup with honey

  • Add additional seasoning of preference
