Glazed Carrots

INGREDIENTS
4 peeled carrots
1/4 cup of J & Jay’s infused coconut oil
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/8 cup chopped parsley
1/4 tsp of ground peppers or chili powder for preference
Sprinkle of salt and ground pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut the carrots into smaller pieces. Cut to size preference.
Add the J & Jay’s infused coconut oil to an iron-cast skillet and heat over medium heat.
Add in the carrots into the skillet and add a dash of salt. Toss to coat the carrots
Continue to cook the carrots for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the carrots are tender and caramelized.
Add in maple syrup and toss the carrots for 1 minute.
Season with salt and desired seasonings then top with chopped parsleys.
Serves up to 2 people.
TIPS
Substitute infused coconut oil depending on desired dosage
Can substitute maple syrup with honey
Add additional seasoning of preference
