Holiday Rice Crispy Bars
Add a festive twist to a classic treat with Holiday Rice Crispy Bars, packed with gooey marshmallows, crispy cereal, and colorful holiday sprinkles for a cheerful and delicious bite
INGREDIENTS
• 6 cups crisped rice cereal
• 10 oz (1 bag) mini marshmallows
• 1/2 cup cannabutter
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Holiday sprinkles, or red and green M&M’s
INSTRUCTIONS
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large pot, melt the cannabutter over low heat. Stir frequently to prevent burning.
Add the mini marshmallows to the pot and stir continuously until they are completely melted and smooth.
Remove the pot from heat and stir in the vanilla extract for added flavor.
Gradually fold in the crisped rice cereal, mixing until every piece is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press it down evenly with a greased spatula or your hands (use wax paper to prevent sticking).
While the mixture is still warm, sprinkle holiday sprinkles or press in red and green M&M’s for a festive touch.
Let the rice crispy treats cool at room temperature for 30 minutes or until firm.
Remove the treats from the pan and cut them into squares or holiday-themed shapes using cookie cutters.
