Grilled Cheese Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

• 4 slices of high-quality bread (sourdough or artisanal works well)

• 4 oz (about 1 cup) of your favorite cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, gouda, or a mix)

• 2 tbsp of cannabis-infused butter (adjust potency to personal preference)

• 2 tbsp of regular unsalted butter

- Optional: Sliced tomatoes, cooked bacon, caramelized onions, or any other desired toppings

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Take the cannabutter out of the refrigerator to soften slightly. Slice the cheese if not pre-sliced. If using any additional toppings like tomatoes or onions, prepare them now.

  2. Lay out two slices of bread and spread a tablespoon of cannabutter on one side of each slice.

  3. Place a generous amount of cheese (and any desired toppings) on the unbuttered side of one slice. Place the other slice of bread, buttered side up, on top to form a sandwich.

  4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Once hot, add a tablespoon of regular unsalted butter to the skillet and let it melt.

  5. Carefully place the assembled sandwiches in the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey. If needed, press down gently on the sandwiches with a spatula to ensure even cooking.

  6. Once the sandwiches are cooked to perfection, remove them from the skillet and let them cool slightly.
